MISSION: Support and Promote all things Florida Gator Baseball
The Gator Dugout Club is the official booster group for the University of Florida Baseball program. Our main objective is to encourage fan support for the Gator baseball team.
What Does The Gator Dugout Club Do?
The Gator Dugout Club is the official booster group for the University of Florida Baseball program. Our main objective is to encourage fan support for the Gator baseball team.
Another form of support is by being present at home and select away games, at the SEC Baseball Tournament in Hoover, Alabama and in Omaha at the College World Series.
Additionally, the Club holds a merchandise raffle at each meeting, raffling restaurant and merchandise gift cards as well as Gator merchandise.

Where Does The Money Go?
The Gator Dugout Club realizes to support the Gator Baseball Program it takes volunteers, effort and money. The Club has been supporting the Gator Dugout Club Scholarship Endowment Fund for more than a decade. Some of the funding has come from membership dues and merchandise raffles, auctions and our annual golf tournament.
In 2020, despite a pandemic cutting the NCAA season short, Gator Dugout Club members, their family members and friends, and season ticket holders rallied to raise over $100,000 toward the building of a new, state-of-the art facility across campus from the old McKethan Stadium. This donation is recognized by the UAA with a title sponsorship of the National Championship trophy display at Florida Ballpark.
The Club thanks those who give and encourages every member to participate.
What activities does Gator Dugout Club offer it's members?
Annual Scholarship Fundraiser Golf Tournament
The Club holds an annual GDC Scholarship Golf Tournament at the Ironwood Golf Course.
SEC Tournament Package
During the season, the Club sells raffle tickets for a chance at two seats and up to six nights at a hotel for the SEC baseball tournament in Hoover, AL.
General Meetings
The Club has monthly meetings prior to and during the college baseball season. The monthly meetings are usually on the first Monday of the month. We feature guest speakers ranging from former players, local sports personalities, UAA administrators, umpires and others involved in baseball in the state of Florida. Our sponsors oftentimes donate items to be raffled off with the funds going toward the club. Additionally, raffle tickets for a The SEC Tournament Package are sold. Regular meetings are open to Members and their invited guests. The annual Meet the Team Dinner is open to current Members only.
Meet the Team Dinner and Awards Meeting
Every February, the Club kicks off the new season in style with our Meet the Team Dinner. The Club invites the players, coaches, team student managers and groundskeepers to dinner. Additionally, the club's president recognizes players from the previous season with an awards ceremony, previously voted on by the membership. This event is open to current Members only.
December Holiday Party
The club meets for an evening of holiday bliss as members donate to Toys For Tots and engage in the annual White Elephant gift exchange.
Watch Parties
The club engages members with watch parties throughout the season complete with raffles to support the Gators on the road to victory.
Trips
The Club organizes trips to several away games throughout the year. Currently the club travels to FSU games in Jacksonville and Tallahassee with more in the works for the future.
Tailgates
The UAA has given The Gator Dugout Club a prime position to tailgate in the lawn in front of Gate 3 at Florida Ballpark. The tailgates typically occur prior to key SEC games and provides opportunity for members to converse and celebrate the team's accomplishments.
